Craig Anderson B.A., LL.B. - Craig has specialised in Magistrates Court litigation since 1990 and manages the firm's collections and recoveries department. As a lecturer at the Practical Legal Training School, Craig shares his wealth of experience and knowledge of procedures with university graduates who are preparing for their admission to the legal profession.
Russell Argue B.A., LL.B. - Russell has over 20 years experience in practice, and is a member of the firm's litigation department, specializing in family and matrimonial law, labour law and general litigation in both the Magistrates and High Courts.
Prinashree Chetty B.COMM., LL.B., LLM (Medical Law) - Prinashree practises in the firm's litigation department, both in the Magistrates and High Courts, working closely with Russell Argue.
Yashnee Chetty - Yashnee is a member of the litigation department where she specializes in personal injury and insurance related matters.
Lance Coubrough B.COMM. LL.B., PG DIP TAX - Lance has over 25 years experience in practice and has developed specialist skills in commercial and corporate law, including taxation law and competition commission issues. Lance has also provided support with estate planning and trust issues over the years, giving him the ability to provide clients with strong support in these areas, and those relating to company registrations, shareholders agreements and related structures.
Barry Lewis B.A., LL.B. - Barry is a member of the Property law and conveyancing department of the firm, and is widely respected for his thorough knowledge of property law matters accumulated over more than 20 years in practice. Barry has developed special skills in township establishments and developments both in terms of the 'new' land laws rolled out in the early 1990's, and in terms of the more traditional legislation still used by developers in the upper end of the property market.
Naomi Maharaj LL.B. - Naomi is a member of the litigation department, specialising in personal injury actions, insurance and environmental law.
Roy Monk B.JURIS, LL.B., PG DIP. INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, PG DIP. MARITIME LAW - Roy has been in practice for more than thirty years and is a member of the litigation department specialising in labour law and commercial litigation, including maritime and construction law. With his academic background and years of experience in handling large and complex litigation matters, Roy is well qualified to assist clients in the Courts as well as in arbitration or other tribunals.
Subashnee Moodley B.A., LL.B. - Subashnee carries on a general practice in the firm, with skills as a conveyancer in the Property law department, and in litigation focusing on recoveries for clients in the Banking Sector.
Kay Naidoo B.PROC. - Kay has over twenty years experience as a litigator, and as one of the firm's attorneys with rights of appearance in the High Court, acts as the in-house counsel in many matters. Kay is nationally acknowledged for his expertise in town planning issues, relating in particular to municipal implementation of zoning and town planning regulations. He has also sat for many years as a commissioner in the Durban Small Claims Court, which is a voluntary and unpaid service to the community in terms of the legislation designed to make justice more accessible to those who would otherwise be unable to afford it.
Gordon Pentecost B.A., LL.B. - Gordon has over 30 years experience as an attorney, specialising in High Court and Magistrate's Court litigation. Gordon has lectured for many years at the Practical Legal Training School, and is a member of the national examination committee which approves examinations and marking procedures for the admission of new attorneys. Gordon has served on many committees, including most notably those of several educational institutions and national and provincial hockey structures.
Bruce Rist B.A., LL.B. - Bruce was previously the managing partner of John Koch & Company, and amalgamated his firm with Livingston Leandy. Bruce is a specialist in litigation work and in particular banking law and debt recoveries for clients in the Banking Sector.
Arthi Rooplall LL.B. - Arthi is a qualified conveyancer and notary public, who assists both in the property law department of the firm, as well as the litigation department. Her focus is on personal injury and insurance work, much of which involves trial preparation and appearances.
Errol Sibiya B.PROC., LL.B. - Errol is a member of the litigation department where he specializes in personal injury and insurance related matters falling within the jurisdiction of both the High Court and the Magistrates Court.
Douglas Tatham B.A., LL.B. - Douglas has over twenty years experience in practice and is the managing director of the firm, attending to the day-to-day administrative functions as well as his practice in which he specialises in conveyancing and notarial work, and in particular sectional title and share block schemes and commercial property transactions.
Sifiso Thusi LL.B. - Sifiso is a director in the litigation department who specializes in insurance and personal injury law, as well as being one of the attorneys in the practice who handles criminal law matters.
George Yarker B.COMM., LL.B., DIP MARITIME LAW - George has over thirty years experience in practice, and has developed special skills in property developments and establishment of financial and registration structures for both sectional title and township developments. George has been instrumental in devising novel and successful structures for many major housing and commercial developments in KwaZulu-Natal.
