David Campbell

BSocSci (Psych) , LL.B , LL.M

Director

David graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a BSocSci (Psych) degree, an LLB degree as well as an LLM Degree in advanced taxation.

 

David is an admitted Attorney, Notary Public and Conveyancer and is a Director in our property and commercial law departments. Prior to joining LLI, David practiced as a Director at a leading Durban based property law firm.

 

David’s experience spans across the field of property law, and includes residential and commercial property transfers, sectional title and township developments, shareblock conversions, subdivisions and consolidations. As an admitted Notary Public, David also attends to the drafting and registration of cessions, servitudes, long-term leases, notarial ties and antenuptial contracts. 

 

In his commercial practice David is experienced in advising on and drafting a wide range of agreements, including commercial property sale and lease agreements, shareholders agreements, memoranda of incorporation, share sale agreements, partnership agreements, non-disclosure agreements and sponsorship agreements.

George Yarker

George is an admitted Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public with over 35 years’ experience in property law and practice. He has developed specialised skills in sectional title and township development. He has been instrumental in developing successful structures for several developers of major residential and commercial developments across KwaZulu-Natal. George also engages in estate planning and deceased estate administration on behalf of LLI’s clients.

Nick Williams

Director

Nick joined the Firm as a Director in July 2022 and had, prior to joining the Firm, practiced as a Partner of a well established Durban Law Firm, where he specialised in the Administration of Deceased Estates.
Nick graduated from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal with an LL.B degree.
Nick is a registered tax practitioner and also a member of the Fiduciary Institute of Southern Africa (FISA), which greatly assists him when advising LLI’s clients on Wills, Estate Planning, Trust Administration and the Administration of Deceased Estates.
In keeping with the ethos of the Firm, Nick approaches all matters with the aim of building long lasting relationships with his clients.

Subashnee Moodley

B.A., LL.B.

Director

Subashnee, is an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public in the property and conveyancing department.

Subashnee works closely with various banking institutions in relation to commercial and residential mortgage bond registrations, notarial bond registrations, bond cancellations, foreclosure transfers, deceased estate transfers and distressed sales.

She has, in addition, been exposed to a wide variety of conveyancing matters, both residential and commercial, including the opening of sectional title registers, sale in execution transfers, general transfers, share block matters and drafting of a wide variety of agreements.

In 2017, Subashnee was the SA Women in Property Network KwaZulu-Natal winner in the category of Women in Property: Corporate/Private Sector. In June 2020 she was selected as the KwaZulu-Natal winner in the Inclusive Leader category of the 8th Gender Mainstreaming Awards. Subashnee is an active member of the 30% Club and Business Engage and a member of the BLA. She is a director of Woza Women in Law and the Woza Leadership Academy. Subashnee is also a board member of the South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners.
